Why Choose The Jet Guys For Your Aircraft Acquisition

Buying an aircraft is one of the largest financial and operational decisions you'll make, and it takes more than knowing what's listed on the market. Our role is to guide you through the entire acquisition — with clarity, structure, and independent judgment. From defining your mission and sourcing the right aircraft to evaluating condition, negotiating terms, and coordinating the pre-purchase inspection through closing, we keep you moving forward with confidence. No pressure, no product bias, no hidden incentives.

The Jet Guys Acquisition Program

Our Acquisition Program is built around a single principle: you should have an experienced team working only for you. We support two clear paths — buyers looking to acquire the right aircraft, and owners preparing to sell — each backed by the same disciplined process, current market data, and hands-on aviation experience. Every step is documented, every recommendation is independent, and every decision stays with you.

The Jet Guys is an independent aircraft acquisition and appraisal firm. We are not an aircraft operator and hold no commercial stake in the aircraft you buy or sell — which means our only interest is your outcome.

Buyer Acquisitions

1

Requirements & Mission Planning

We define how you'll actually use the aircraft — range, payload, runway needs, budget — before a single listing is reviewed.

2

Market Sourcing

We search the full market, including off-market opportunities, and shortlist aircraft that fit your mission and budget.

3

Technical Due Diligence

We review logbooks, damage history, and maintenance status, and coordinate the pre-purchase inspection so there are no surprises.

4

Negotiation & Closing

We negotiate price and terms, manage the LOI and purchase agreement, and coordinate escrow, inspection, and delivery through closing.

Seller Acquisitions

1

Valuation & Pricing Strategy

We establish a defensible market value and pricing strategy grounded in current transaction data.

2

Marketing & Buyer Sourcing

We present your aircraft to qualified buyers and our broker network, with accurate specs and complete records.

3

Offer Management

We field and qualify offers, manage negotiations, and keep you in control of every decision.

4

Transaction Support

We coordinate inspection, escrow, and closing documents through a clean, on-time delivery.

We work for you - and only you.

We don't sell aircraft off our own inventory and we don't take incentives from manufacturers or sellers. Our only job is to get you into the right aircraft on the right terms. That independence shapes every recommendation we make, from the shortlist to the final signature.

We see the whole market,
not just what's listed.

Much of the best inventory never reaches public listings. Through years of relationships across brokers, operators, and owners, we surface off-market opportunities and give you a complete view of what's actually available — so you're choosing from the full field, not a filtered one.

We know what to look for
In the records.

Damage history, incomplete logbooks, deferred maintenance, and looming inspections can turn a good deal into an expensive one. We review the technical records in detail and coordinate the pre-purchase inspection so the aircraft's true condition is clear before you commit.

We protect your position
through the deal.

From the letter of intent to final closing, we manage the terms, the timeline, and the paperwork — LOI, purchase agreement, escrow, inspection, and delivery — keeping the transaction on track and firmly in your interest.

We take due diligence seriously.

Every acquisition follows a structured, documented process — no shortcuts, no guesswork. We verify records, confirm condition, and pressure-test value against real market data, because a decision this size deserves more than a gut feeling. You get the full picture before you sign.

All FAQs
How does the acquisition process work?
+

We start by defining your mission and budget, then source and shortlist aircraft, run technical due diligence and a pre-purchase inspection, negotiate terms, and manage escrow through to delivery. You stay in control at every step.

Do you represent buyers, sellers, or both?
+

Both. On the buy side we act as your independent advisor; on the sell side we manage valuation, marketing, and the transaction. We never sit on both sides of the same deal.

Are you really independent?
+

Yes. We don't hold inventory and we don't take incentives from sellers or manufacturers. Our recommendations are based on your interests, not a commission on a specific aircraft.

How long does an acquisition usually take?
+

It depends on the aircraft and the market, but most run from a few weeks to a few months — from initial search to closing. We'll give you a realistic timeline once we understand your requirements.

What does the pre-purchase inspection cover?
+

A detailed review of the aircraft's condition and records at a qualified facility — airframe, engines, avionics, logbooks, and airworthiness status — so you know exactly what you're buying before funds are released.
