Whether you need a full-aircraft valuation for a complex transaction or an independent assessment of a fractional share, we deliver precise, data-driven appraisal reports trusted by owners, buyers, financial institutions, and legal professionals worldwide.

Our Appraisal Program is built around a single principle: every valuation should hold up under real scrutiny — from banks, insurers, attorneys, and the IRS. We perform two types of appraisals — full, USPAP-compliant appraisals for owners, buyers, and lenders, and fractional appraisals for owners with a fractional or timeshare interest — each backed by the same documented process, current market data, and hands-on aviation experience. Every step is documented, every valuation is independent, and every report is defensible.

The Jet Guys is an independent aircraft appraisal firm led by an ASA Accredited Member. We are not an aircraft operator and hold no commercial stake in the aircraft you own — which means our only interest is an accurate, defensible number.
We gather logbooks, maintenance history, damage history, and equipment list before any valuation work begins.
We analyze current asking prices, recent sales, and comparable aircraft to establish where your aircraft sits in the active market.
We apply a USPAP-compliant methodology to produce a defensible, documented value supported by verifiable data.
You receive a signed, certified appraisal report ready to submit to a bank, insurer, attorney, or the IRS.
We review your fractional agreement, hours or days owned, and program terms to establish exactly what interest is being valued.
We assess the aircraft's condition, program value, and remaining contract term against current fractional market data.
We calculate a defensible value for your specific fractional interest, not just the aircraft as a whole.
You receive a documented valuation ready to support a sale, buy-back, transfer, or contract-expiration exit.
Whether you need a certified valuation for a bank, a fractional exit, or peace of mind, you get a documented process from first call to final report.
Initial conversation to understand your aircraft, ownership structure, and what the appraisal needs to support.
We collect logbooks and records, then schedule a physical or desktop inspection depending on the appraisal type.
A documented, USPAP-compliant valuation delivered on a clear timeline, with support if questions come up later.
Aircraft appraisals serve several types of clients: owners and buyers who need a defensible value for financing or a sale, lenders and insurers who require an independent valuation, attorneys and estates handling a transaction or dispute, and fractional owners who need their specific interest valued when a program matures or transfers.
A full appraisal values an entire aircraft based on its condition, history, and current market comparables. A fractional appraisal values a specific fractional or timeshare interest in an aircraft — accounting for the ownership agreement, remaining program term, and usage rights — rather than the aircraft as a whole.
Yes. Every appraisal follows USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) methodology and is delivered by an ASA Accredited Member, so the report holds up with banks, insurers, and attorneys.
Most full appraisals are delivered within five business days. Fractional and desktop appraisals are often faster, depending on the availability of records and inspection requirements.
At minimum, your aircraft's tail number, logbooks, and maintenance records. For a fractional appraisal, we'll also need your ownership or program agreement and current interest details.
